a gift for you
A Gift Now Ready to Give
Way back when in March 2020, I was due to present at a conference just outside of Portland, Oregon. And we all know what happened to in-person events in March 2020… the small team of conference organizers was successful in offering a smaller virtual offering, in which I was happy to participate, offering a workshop entitled Tell A Story: Make It One for the Ages.
Nevertheless, they had planned to offer a table for presenters to sell resources and I so wasn’t able to add the many beautiful 11” by 17” laminated posters I had made of this infographic (scroll down).
I tucked them all away in a cabinet of grief though now, with this new beginning of this newsletter, I’m joyful to see where they wish to be sent.
You are the ‘early adopters’ of my work.
You are the ones who said “yes” to receiving a newsletter before there even was one and even “yes” when it was on hiatus.
You are the ones who attended the very workshop that this poster was inspired by - my workshop entitled What’s the Hurry? Let’s Slow Down to Develop Naturally.
So it is you who I first offer this gift.
Who This Poster Speaks To
You’ll see the poster speaks to caregivers who are family as well as educators.
I envision this poster being placed in a lobby of a learning community for adults to see (as well as children!).
I envision this poster being placed under an awning of an outdoor classroom where adult family members pick up their children, nice and dirty from a day outside.
I envision this poster being placed in a home, maybe at adult eye level in a cozy corner, as a reminder to adult family members.
I envision this being placed in a nature center, cafe, credit union, library, church, synagogue, art supply shop, grocery store… caregivers of young children journey everywhere (though maybe closer to home journeys right now)!
Reply if you’d like one or comment below with your email address and I will follow up regarding the mailing / delivery process. First come, first served (determined by timestamp of email or comment). I will not be printing more at this time but I do have quite a lot.
If you are connected with a place that has several sweet spots this poster could be, we can certainly talk about you receiving several.
I’d very much like to share these with you and the greater world; they are ready to depart the cabinet of grief and be welcomed to walls of love!
The posters are laminated 11” x 17” sheets.
